Ingredients

Aperol
  • 2 oz Aperol
apple cider
  • 3 oz apple cider Chilled
prosecco
  • 3 oz prosecco Chilled
sparkling water
  • 1 oz sparkling water
ice
  • 1 ice
apple slice
  • 1 apple slice Thin
cinnamon stick
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Method

Build the spritz
  1. Fill a large wine glass with ice until well packed for fast chilling and lots of bubbles to rise.
  2. Pour in the Aperol and chilled apple cider, then watch the color turn bright orange as they meet the ice.
  3. Top with the chilled prosecco and sparkling water to keep carbonation lively and airy.
  4. Stir gently once to combine—stop as soon as the drink looks evenly blended.
  5. Garnish with a thin apple slice and a cinnamon stick, then serve immediately so the bubbles stay active.

Notes

For the crispest, most aromatic sip, use both apple cider and prosecco straight from the fridge (chilled keeps the drink from going cloudy and flat). Serve right away for maximum carbonation; it’s best not to store, as bubbles fade quickly. If you want a lighter option, swap part of the prosecco for extra sparkling water to reduce calories while keeping the spritz style.
