Ingredients

Pretzel layer
  • 30 mini pretzel squares or rounds Use a single layer so each piece gets chocolate coverage.
White chocolate topping
  • 16 oz white chocolate melting wafers Melts best in short bursts so it stays smooth.
  • 1 parchment paper Lines the baking sheet to prevent sticking.
Red and blue drizzle
  • 1 red candy melts Melt separately for clean red drizzle lines.
  • 1 blue candy melts Melt separately for clean blue drizzle lines.
Finishing
  • 1 red, white, and blue star sprinkles Add immediately so the chocolate captures them before setting.

Equipment

  • 1 sheet pan

Method

Prep
  1. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and spread the mini pretzel squares in a single layer so they don’t overlap.
Melt and coat with white chocolate
  1. Melt the white chocolate melting wafers in a microwave using 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth and glossy.
  2. Spoon or drizzle white chocolate over each pretzel, covering the top while leaving the edges slightly visible.
Make the red and blue drizzle
  1. Melt the red candy melts in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth.
  2. Melt the blue candy melts in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth.
Decorate
  1. Drizzle the red and blue melts over the white chocolate-coated pretzels using a spoon or piping bag for contrasting lines.
  2. Immediately scatter the star sprinkles over each piece while the chocolate is still wet so they stick.
Set and serve
  1. Let the bites sit at room temperature for 30 minutes until fully set, or refrigerate for 10 minutes if you need them faster, then break apart and serve.

Notes

Pro tip: Work one step at a time after melting—once the white chocolate is on the pretzels, decorate quickly so the sprinkles adhere before it sets. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days; freeze for up to 2 months (separate layers with parchment). For a dietary swap, use dairy-free white chocolate melting wafers in the same amount.
